What every one of these pages has in common

Ghosty Notes records using your Mac's own audio. Nothing joins your meeting, so the other people on the call see the people on the call and nobody else. The speech is turned into text by a model that runs on your machine, and the notes are saved as plain markdown files in a folder you choose. You can move them, back them up, or delete them, the same as any other file you own.

The audio never leaves your Mac on any plan. If you switch on Pro's hosted AI models, the transcript text is sent to that service so it can write the summary. The audio still never is, and in local mode nothing is sent at all. That distinction matters in most of the jobs below, so every page states it plainly rather than burying it.

It runs on a Mac with Apple Silicon. Intel Macs do not have the hardware the on-device speech model needs, so they are not supported. There is no team plan, no shared library and no admin console, so these pages talk to the person doing the work rather than to a procurement department.
