Refund Policy

If Ghosty Notes is not right for you, we refund you. No questions asked.

1. The guarantee

Every paid Ghosty Notes plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.

2. How to request a refund

Email hello@ghostynotes.app from the address you used to buy, and say that you would like a refund. That is the whole process. We aim to reply within one business day, and the refund is issued to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer decides how quickly it appears on your statement, typically within five to ten business days.

You can also request a refund by replying to the receipt you received from Paddle when you paid.

3. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops all future payments. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that your account returns to the free plan.

Cancelling and refunding are separate things. You can cancel without asking for a refund, and you can ask for a refund within the 30 days whether or not you have cancelled.

4. Your notes are always yours

Ghosty Notes is local-first. Your recordings, transcripts and notes are files on your own computer. A refund, a cancellation or the end of a subscription does not remove them, and we cannot delete them for you. The free plan keeps working on the same files.

5. Who you are buying from

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Ghosty Notes is operated by GrowthX Group, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy reduces any right you have under the law where you live. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. The 30-day guarantee above is longer than that period and applies in addition to it, so you keep whichever right is better for you.
