By using Ghosty Notes or this website, you agree to these terms.

1. The software

Ghosty Notes is a proprietary application, licensed to you and not sold. You may use it for personal and business purposes. You may not copy, repackage or resell the software, and you may not decompile it except where the law says you may. It includes open-source components, which are listed with their licences inside the app under Settings.

2. Free and paid plans

The free plan is local and requires no account. Pro adds cloud conveniences and is billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Your notes are files on your disk and remain yours regardless of plan.

2a. Payments and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns.

3. Calendar integration

Calendar connection is optional and available only when you authorize it. Ghosty Notes requests read-only access to calendar and event data so it can show your schedule, identify the meeting you are in, and associate meeting notes with the correct event. It does not create, edit, or delete events in your calendar. You can disconnect a calendar account at any time.

4. Recording is your responsibility

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including obtaining any consent required to record a conversation in your jurisdiction. Ghosty Notes is a tool; how and where you use it is your decision.

5. AI output

Summaries and answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before relying on them. They are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Ghosty Notes to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt our services.

7. Warranty and liability

The software and website are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Ghosty Notes.

8. Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

Ghosty Notes is operated by GrowthX Group, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
