By using Ghosty Notes or this website, you agree to these terms.

1. The software

Ghosty Notes is a source-available application. You may use it for personal and business purposes. You may read and audit the source, but you may not repackage and resell the software as your own. The exact licence is stated in the project's repository.

2. Free and paid plans

The free plan is local and requires no account. Paid plans (Pro and Team) add cloud features and are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Your notes are files on your disk and remain yours regardless of plan.

3. Recording is your responsibility

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including obtaining any consent required to record a conversation in your jurisdiction. Ghosty Notes is a tool; how and where you use it is your decision.

4. AI output

Summaries and answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before relying on them. They are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Ghosty Notes to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt our services.

6. Warranty and liability

The software and website are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Ghosty Notes.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and will revise the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

Ghosty Notes is operated by GrowthX Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
